BIBLE STUDY 

Sunday morning Bible Study is Northview’s foundational strategy for leading people to faith in Jesus Christ and for developing Christians through Bible Study groups that engage them in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship. We have age and/or gender specific Bible study classes that meet both at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM each week.

Need to find a specific class?

Mid-week study groups are offered to enhance personal study time. These special interest groups range from men’s, ladies’, coed adult and all age groups for children from birth through 12th grade.  Our Pastor, Ken Wells, also leads a group in song and study in the Music Suite each week.  Click here to see our special interest schedule and current study.

Fall, Winter, and Spring Semesters courses of study are offered up to three times a year and typically coincide with the local public school schedule. HOME TEAMS
Home Teams are designed to connect people into small groups that produce spiritual transformation, authentic community and loving service to the church and to people in need.  To locate a home team near you contact the church office, or speak with one of the volunteers at the Information Center.  Home Teams are made up of groups of 10-12 adults that meet throughout the week in homes. They provide the perfect setting to socialize, as well as learn more about the Bible. Home Team leaders work with the church staff in identifying group study topics and act as the communication liaison between the group and the pastors.  Contact Linda Lyles at lindalyles@verizon.net for more information on a Home Team. RECREATION
Northview enjoys a myriad of sports and outdoors activities which include: Men’s and Coed Softball, Basketball, Summer Golf League, Fishing, Men/Women’s Fitness Classes, and Skeet Shooting. In addition to these, Northview Men enjoy attending professional sporting events such as baseball and arena football. SERVICE
Our members are involved in many different aspects of community service and mission action projects. Such services include, but are not limited to: Keep Lewisville Beautiful, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, and Christian Community Action. In 2007, Northview began its own community service program called Faith In Action. Faith in Action is a month long, church-wide campaign that creates in our congregation an outward focus and a heart to serve all through the year. The entire congregation is encouraged to devote an entire weekend in October to engage in designated service projects in, and with, the community. SENIOR ADULTS
You won’t find Senior Adults just sitting around playing dominoes at Northview. We are an active and valuable part of the Northview Family. Retired adults have found that life is just beginning. Many serve in areas of leadership, education, service, hospitality, and music. In addition to service opportunities, Northview Seniors enjoy trips to Branson, Saturday Night Monthly Gatherings, Bible Study Groups, and singing in the fun-loving, Gospel Gold Choir that meets every Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Music Suite. MEN
Men now have a place to be men, while at the same time not having to sacrifice their values and moral standards. Northview offers all men the chance to follow their dreams, hobbies, and passions in a Christian setting year around. Whether you are an active athlete, or an outdoorsman, or enjoy Bible Study or just getting together with other men, there are opportunities for you to participate, learn and connect at Northview like never before. WOMEN
Ladies….you have arrived! Get ready for the time of your life. From Girl’s Night Out to “Spring Bling” to Book Club to Bible Groups, we have it all for you now at Northview. Check out the event calendar for the latest hoop-la. And ladies, you can trust that Northview has your Spiritual development needs at heart as well. Doing all we do helps meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women. This ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ. COLLEGE & CAREER
Want to do something new? Need to change your routine? Like to make new friends in a safe environment? Drop in and meet some other young adults that are into the same things. Northview’s College/Career group meets Sundays at 11:00 AM and again Sunday nights at 8:12 PM for some Bible Study, games, food, and general chat. Still in its beginning stages, the Singles Group is passionate about community service, living a full life, and supporting and encouraging each other. We have redefined “family” in a way that embraces single adulthood and takes advantage of all of its benefits. FAMILY
The word “family” is synonymous with Northview. Everything we do is in an effort to support and encourage families. A major part of how we accomplish this is by staffing, training, and equipping volunteers in specific age-graded areas to help families with their Spiritual development on a weekly basis. In addition, not only has Northview hired professional staff members in all age groups, but we budget necessary funds to accomplish the Spiritual goals set forth each year.
