Connect

Fellowship & Connect at Northview

As Northview grows, relationships among members are sustained due to the fellowship and relationship building opportunities intentionally planned for all ages. Even though it is important for individual age groups to learn and grow, we also see it vital that our church be a multi-generational church where members are afforded the blessing of having friends whose age and experiences covers many decades, life experience and offers opportunity for Biblical mentoring.

Students & Children
Investing in the lives of students is a high priority at Northview. With the issues facing our students today, it is all the more important that they have a solid moral compass and adult leaders that love and support them. Nothing is missed in the course of a student’s time here at Northview: camps, retreats, mission trips, conferences, application based Bible Studies, and powerful Worship and Praise geared just for students.

Way beyond childcare, the kids at Northview gain hands on experience in what it means to be a child of God. Our goal in Children’s Ministry is that by the time your child promotes to the Student Ministry, that they have come to know Christ, and have the basic tools that will help them grow as a new believer. The Station is the official “hang out” for all children with full adult oversight and security. Guaranteed great!

More About Our Ministries

Community Ministry

We love where we live and show it by serving, giving, and working in our community doing various volunteer projects in the name of Christ. Since Northview is a local, hometown church, we sense a calling to love our neighbors not only through words but actions as well. Our Community Mission Council hosts many opportunities throughout the year for you to join in and help make a difference.“Not saved to sit, but saved to serve” is an adage we use quite often at Northview. We have a ministry staff of gifted, degreed, and energetic ministers whose main call is to train and equip members to “do the work of the ministry.” Ministry at Northview not only includes all the things done on campus, but there is a large amount of ministry done in and around our community. If you love God, love your community, and want to make a difference, then this is the place.

Bible Study & Discipleship

Classes are offered for all ages on Sunday at both 9:00 and 10:30 AM. The Bible is the textbook of our Sunday Morning classes. Then throughout the week, various studies are provided, usually in the evenings, that enable Christian growth and relationship building. Wednesday night is the weeknight where the church gathers again at the church campus with opportunities for all ages to learn and grown in Christ.

Missions & Evangelism

Northview is an evangelical church, with a passionate desire to see people come to know Christ. In almost every worship service, people are provided the information needed and the opportunity to come to Christ. Beyond the Sunday experience, Northview is active in not only funding missions and missionaries world-wide, but actively participating in mission projects and trips on a regular basis.

Music & The Arts

Music is a large ministry at Northview offering vocal music opportunities for all ages. Additionally, instrumental music is a vital part of all congregational meetings with styles ranging from the most contemporary, to the classic hymns, and even a flavor of country every now and then. About twenty percent of Northview membership are a part of a regular rehearsing music team. Most recently, other performing arts such as drama and dance have been utilized in worship.
