Pastor Ken is a life-time resident of Lewisville, Texas and Denton County. His family came to Lewisville in the early 1890’s from Tennessee. He not only has deep roots in this community, but also a great heart for its people.
He is a proud graduate of Lewisville High School, Arlington Baptist College, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. With a heart for missions, he has ministered overseas as well as in numerous parts of the United States. Ken is also active in the local Baptist Association and various community organizations. In many
respects he has become the “Community Pastor” of Lewisville, Flower Mound, and the neighboring areas.
Pastor Ken and his wife, Teresa, have three grown children: J.D. (and wife, Erica), Heath and Emily (and husband, Scott) and his first granddaughter, Jolie. All are active in serving the Lord in some capacity in the community and at Northview.
Throughout Ken’s ministry there have been literally hundreds of people saved, baptized, and serving God around the globe. He has been privileged to perform countless wedding ceremonies and comfort numerous grieving families during their times of loss. He is truly a Pastor with a shepherd’s heart of love and service.
Northview Ministers & Directors
Rob, his wife Cheryl, and daughters, Stephanie, Tiffany, and Bethany returned to Northview in 1997 as Associate Pastor. This is the third time Rob has served on staff at Northview having first begun his ministry here in 1978. With a B.A. degree from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree from Southwestern Seminary, Rob brings a wide range of experience in many areas of ministry. Music, education, missions, as well as church administration have all been a vital part of his ministry both in local church and denominational work. His true desire is to serve the local church in developing and equipping God’s people to activate their spiritual gifts in service to the Body of Christ.
Associate Pastor of Students
Andrew was born in Plano and has spent most of his life here in the DFW area. Andrew holds an undergraduate degree in Music Education from East Texas Baptist University and a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Andrew was married in May of 2014 to Robyn, whom he met while at ETBU. The Malones enjoy being outdoors, hiking and camping, going to Texas Ranger games, as well as staying home and watching Netflix and HGTV. But most importantly, being parents to their daughter, Adelaide.
Director of Women’s Ministry and Operations
Andrea came to Northview in 2007 as a Ministry Assistant. Andrea currently is responsible for our church communications and office management. She has a heart for ministering to women and stepped up to coordinate our growing Women’s Ministry in 2015. Her passion is seeing women come to know Christ and seeing them grow in God’s love, grow in their faith and being able to share the gospel with others. Andrea now serves as our Director of Women’s Ministry and Operations. Andrea also works in our Student Ministry and as our Community Ministry FIA lead. Recently, Andrea received her Leadership Certification in Women’s Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has three grown daughters and a devoted husband, Lee, who is also actively involved in many ministry areas at Northview as well.
Director of Children’s Ministry
Heather, her husband Matt, and 2 sons, Cole and Peyton joined Northview in January 2013. Heather immediately, began serving in various parts of the Children’s Ministry. She holds a BA in English and Special Education from East Texas State University, with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. She taught in many areas of Special Education for 25 years from Pre-School to High School and specialized in Autism and behavioral disorders. Her desire is leading children: to know and grow in a personal relationship with God while they are still young to have strong Godly relationships with family and others, and to be equipped for ministry and service
As Northview has grown, so has its demand for greater care of its members and guests. In 2008, Larry Lawrence joined the staff team to assist the ministerial staff in hospital visits, home calls, and member care. Now retired from retail, Larry brings a love for people, a warm smile, and a comforting word from Scripture as he makes his visits each week. Larry has been an active member of Northview since the early 90’s and currently teaches a Men’s Bible Study on Sunday mornings.
