Pastor Ken recently retired after 45 years of faithful service at Northview.  Ken has been granted the honorary title of Pastor Emeritus.  He will continue to be involved in the life of Northview while enjoying his retirement from church responsibilities. 

Pastor Ken is a life-time resident of Lewisville, Texas and Denton County. His family came to Lewisville in the early 1890’s from Tennessee.  He not only has deep roots in this community, but also a great heart for its people.

He is a proud graduate of Lewisville High School, Arlington Baptist College, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  With a heart for missions, he has ministered overseas as well as in numerous parts of the United States. Ken is also active in the local Baptist Association and various community organizations. In many
respects he has become the “Community Pastor” of Lewisville, Flower Mound, and the neighboring areas.

Pastor Ken and his wife, Teresa, have three grown children: J.D. (and wife, Erica), Heath (and wife, Whitney), and Emily.  Ken and Teresa are also blessed with four awesome grandchildren.  All are active in serving the Lord in some capacity in the community and at Northview.

Throughout Ken’s ministry there have been literally hundreds of people saved, baptized, and serving God around the globe. He has been privileged to perform countless wedding ceremonies and comfort numerous grieving families during their times of loss.
