As believers, we understand that our money and resources are not ours but the Lord’s. We have a biblical responsibility to support the church and those less fortunate. It should never be a burden, but a joy! The Lord uses your financial gifts to change lives every day, and we are grateful for the faithfulness of our members to love God’s people and others in this way.
God set the ultimate example of giving by the sacrificial gift of His own Son (Ephesians 5:2). Every good and perfect gift comes from Him, so the resources with which He has blessed us ultimately belong to Him. It is our responsibility to be good stewards of those resources and give back to the Lord a portion of them, however He may lead.
