Women’s Ministry

We are built on the five purposes Northview strives to include in all we do. You will find all things women’s ministry at Northview is grounded solidly in the Bible. Our ministry focus includes: The Bible, learning and growing in God’s word, Fellowship & Discipleship and Service img_1691to others. You will find a multi-generational group of ladies leading, serving and growing together in all we do at Northview! Shining in all we do, glorifying God in all we do!

Bible Study

We provide a wide variety of Bible study options just for women to fit your current biblical knowledge and interest, all to help you grow in your walk and personal relationship with Christ. Our studies are theologically sound and provide times of teacher led full book study as well as DVD led series lessons – offering a great small group experience and accountability. Check the schedule, but usually Wednesday nights at 6 PM, meeting in The Chapel is a regular study time. We also offer special study times, Tuesdays/Thursdays (AM & PM) and even some online study group options.

Fellowship

You will find we are one busy group of ladies, offering small group options and large group events throughout the year. Some of these events include: Spring Bling, Summer Sista, Click Flick Dinner & Movie Nights, Secret Retreat, Prayer Mosaic & Worship, Bible Studies, Mission Projects and more. We love to get together, usually with a purpose but also with a whole lot of fun and surprises just for the ladies.

Service

It is our hope that others see God through us as we SHINE. Ladies have a heart to serve and at Northview our women’s ministry grows because we serve others together. We do ministry projects at our events, around the community and beyond our walls in hopes of lifting the spirits of other ladies and letting them see God’s love through our example of love. We write notes, pray over handmade blankets, make baby t-shirts for Teen Moms, make soup mix to gift away, collect items for blessing boxes for women’s shelters, paint pillowcases for children at area children’s home, make blessing bags for homeless, provide welcome baskets to single mom families and more. Join us as we grow as a community of ladies making a difference for Him.

Women’s Ministry Team

We all have different talents and spiritual gifts. Some may be gifted with beautiful handwriting, or a spirit and comfort talking to others, while some may want to be completely behind the scenes and help set up, or make name tags, etc. It takes all sorts of ladies to relate all sorts of talents to make this a growing and successful ministry. In everything we do, we plan to grow and build a community…a community of ladies loving the Lord, sharing that love and excitement with the other ladies at Northview and beyond.

Here are a few things to expect:

1 year commitment (you can choose to stay on or rotate off – will have to sign up again in March/April next year)
5 to 6 meetings with the whole group of WM Team (sub meetings may be needed as events come up – but expect most planning to be done via email)
Our main focus is growing in Christ through Fellowship, Worship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Evangelism – Northview’s 5 purposes.

WM will focus on:

Bibles Study opportunities for women of all ages
Fellowships to build community and offer ministry, outreach and evangelism
Service Projects to minister and serve other in our community and in our church
